3. Baking Soda / Baby powder
Mix 1 part of baking soda or baby powder with 3 parts of water and stir until a solid paste is created. Spread the paste on your sneakers and scrub with a toothbrush. Leave for an hour and remove the mix with a damp cloth. Works for both leather and canvas sneakers.
Use a white toothpaste (without gel) and a toothbrush to gently rub the stains. Leave the toothpaste for about 10 minutes. Then remove with a damp cloth. Perfect for cleaning leather and structured soles.
5. Replace your shoelaces
At last, not a tip for removing stains but secretly the most important one to remember. Your white sneakers will never look fresh with grimy laces. Wash your shoelaces in a pillowcase or laundry bag to prevent lint and replace when necessary. You will be amazed by the effect.
Are your white sneakers beyond rescue because of spots that have penetrated into the material too deeply? Then you have a good reason to buy a new pair.
