1. The classic woollen scarf

Nothing more comfortable and soft than a scarf made of wool, alpaca or cashmere. Especially when it's so fluffy or chunky knitted that you simply want to wrap yourself in it completely. So, we’re totally on board with the ‘the fluffier the better’ trend that leads the way this season. Combine your coat, trenchcoat, bomberjack, teddy or padded jacket with a nice (oversized) woollen piece to create a casual-cool winter look. The rectangular, knitted scarf is timeless and classic, but when you opt for an extra long design that creates more volume when wrapping it around you, you’ll create a more modern high-fashion look.

2. The (silky) printed scarf to complement your outfit

A printed scarf can turn even the most minimal of outfits into a real head-turner. Especially when you choose an ultra-luxurious silk variant to give your outfit the finishing touch it needs. Besides the fact that silk feels soft to the touch, the lightweight material also adds a timeless feel to your look. Casually drape around your neck for nonchalant appeal or opt for a chic approach by bow tying it around your neck. Tip: large square pieces are great to wear as a head scarf a lá Brigitte Bardot.

3. Versatile poncho scarves
Do you really want to show off? Then upgrade your outfit with a poncho scarf (read: an XL scarf that you can style in countless ways). The poncho scarf is a hybrid accessory that allows you to make a style statement during all four seasons. Casually drape the poncho over your outfit indoors, use it as a mid-season replacement for a coat in Spring and during Indian Summer or completely wrap around your neck for a voluminous contemporary styling. The styling possibilities are endless and that is why the poncho scarf is an absolute durable investment.
