‘As a true fabric freak, it probably won’t surprise you that my dream party outfit consists of special, novelty fabrics. I challenge myself to combine totally different kind of fabrics in order to bring out their properties in the best possible way. Think fancy silk-satin pants teamed with a chunky knit or an ultra-feminine lurex top in combination with edgy leather – the contrast between the two (or three, four, five) allows each fabric to take their own spotlight.’

‘I can’t go a day without dry shampoo, even - or actually especially - when I’ve just washed my hair to create more grip at the roots. In combination with backcombing a few layers below the roots, this provides a real boost of volume. Also nice to know: volume at the roots make your face look slimmer.’

'My absolute must-have for the holidays? The maxi dress. In daily life, the maxi is already an absolute favorite of mine and during the holidays it is my go-to outfit either. Because you can pull out all the stops during the holidays, I prefer to opt for a dress with a slightly wider skirt or in a striking fabric quality - think lurex, satin or an eye-catching print. The advantage of a maxi dress is that it can and may be worn with all shoes - whether chunky leather boots or pumps. When the holidays are over, I wear the maxi dress under a chunky sweater or with an extra-long open cardigan.'

'I have a make-up routine where I mainly emphasize the base with a liquid foundation, a colorless powder and black mascara. For me, the finishing touch is definitely blush to give the cheeks a healthy color and make my make-up look come more alive. Apply the blush with a special blush brush, dab in the blush and lightly tap the brush before application to remove excess powder as well as for a natural look. The ultimate tip for the holidays?Oopt for a cream blush that can be applied to both cheekbones and lips - like the Lip2cheek from RMS Beauty.'

'Although most women quickly think of a dress for the holidays, I feel more powerful, chic and definitely a power woman in a two-piece suit - especially oversized. And, the great thing is that you can easily wear this suit to work, drinks, dinner or just in daily life. So it certainly is a versatile must-have. For the holidays, I combine the suit with a striking accessory like a metallic bag, statement earrings or a colorful shoe'.

'A highlighter, whether liquid or powder, is a must in my make-up routine - subtle application is key here. For some shine to my look, I apply a little of this glowy wonder stuff in the shaded inner corners of my eyes. Not only do look put-together now, I also get a fresher look and my eyes appear optically larger. Small effort, big effect!'
